George Orwell – Animal Farm 2017-09-21 19:18:39
„Animal Farm: A Fairy Story” can be read on the first side of this book which was written by George Orwell, a very talented British author. The story is about animals, so it could be a fairy story. These animals can talk too. It could be a fairy story. The talking animals bundle off the cruel farmer. It could be a happy fairy story. They live in peace and happiness because “All animals are equal”. But good times never last forever. And it isn’t a fairy story, it isn’t a fable, it isn’t a tale for children. This book is about real life. In the 20th century in the Soviet Union there was communism. And this story is the allegory of these times. I liked the way Orwell told this story about these animals while he spoke about dictatorships of his age. I think it was an act of bravery. He wrote about the truth. The cruel truth. In my view he wrote very well however the text of the book isn’t poetic, and doesn’t contain difficult sentences. It’s about simple animals for simple animals. Sorry... for people... The way he told this story was very interesting. He formed this world step-by-step. It changed very slowly but it wasn’t boring. He nearly deceived me too, like the pigs deceived the other animals on the farm. The rules of the farm always changed, and I was sometimes surprised because of it. But I could understand how people can cheat and exhaust the others. This book taught me that. I can’t tell any bad things about this novel. I suggest everyone to read it, because it’s a very instructive, thoughtful and everlasting work. Read this “fairy story” if you would like to know why all animals are equal but why some animals are more equal than others!
