Franz Schubert: Winterreise

Description

Balázs Póka is a leading baritone of the Hungarian State Opera House. After having finished the Medical University in Budapest, he worked as a radiologist. He was learning to sing from professor Erzsébet Hoór Tempis and Italian baritone Mario Sarti. His early musicality is shown by the fact, that already as a child, he played the guitar, and violoncello. He took part in the International Competition of operasingers in Pula, where he was one of the vinners. He sings opera, oratorio, song, operetta and musical in Hungary and abroad.
